The owner has been wonderful to with as a care provider for my young son. He’s been with her for a little over a year and has grown and learned so much. I’m always impressed with the new things he knows and can do.

The owner creates a structured, fun, and loving environment where kids learn to be independent and kind. Both of our children loved going to this daycare. We felt confident that they were doing developmentally appropriate activities, eating healthy food, and cared for well. They made great friends and built a strong learning foundation. Thank you!

It is an understatement to say that over the past few years this caregiver has become like family. She has given our son the opportunity to learn and grow, and it's clear that he enjoys going every week. She has created an environment condusive to learning, encourages kids to be themselves while teaching them to be kind and caring, and has incoporated education with play - a great combination that has set our son up for success. At two, my son's knowledge of numbers, letters (spelling out words by sight), and vocabulary complements his love of art, books/music, and a very vivid imagination; I attribute a large portion of that to her and I cannot thank her enough.

Our daughter started at this daycare when she was 4 months old and we have been exceptionally pleased with the care over the past 8 months. Our daughter did not have the easiest transition to daycare and this provider really helped ensure she felt comfortable, establish a nap routine, and encourage her to develop new skills. As first time parents, it has been a relief to know that our daughter is in a structure, well organized, and nurturing environment. This provider truly cares for each child and their individual needs and our daughter is genuinely excited to see her every morning. We also really appreciate how she does not even have a TV in her facilities, promotes lots of reading, and is constantly taking the kids outside for different activities, weather permitting. Finally, considering the current COVID environment, we are also impressed with the way this provider has been handling a constantly changing situation. Parents are required to wear masks during drop offs, take off shoes, and bring our own pen to ensure we are touching as few things as possible. All the children have temperature checks and this provider keeps her already clean environment even cleaner these days. Having a daycare we trust during these times has been such a blessing for our family.

Our daughter has been with this provider for over a year now, and we are grateful for her unwavering attention to the safety and wellness of the children in her care. It gives us peace of mind knowing that she is in very capable hands, with people who are as dedicated as we are to keeping her safe. The provider and her two assistants are very warm and nurturing with the children, but also work to instill in them a sense of responsibility and respect from early on. She has a well thought out curriculum, engages the children in enriching activities, and makes certain they have plenty of outdoor time (weather permitting). Our daughter adores her teachers, and we feel fortunate to have her under their care!

My daughter has been with this provider since she was 3 months old. My daughter enjoys her time there and she is challenged to learn more all of the time. We are thankful to have access to such a warm, caring, and nurturing place for our little one.

My child has been at this day care for almost two years and absolutely LOVES the teacher and her assistant. They are extremely caring and loving, and the children's safety is their highest priority. Every day, I can rest assured that my daughter is safe, well cared for and learning new things (including Spanish!). The day care is really like a little family. The children learn life skills such as sharing, waiting their turn, cleaning up, and being kind to one another. They learn manners such as saying "Please", "Thank you", and "Good morning". They also do puzzles, practice their letters and numbers, read books, create art, and play outside. I couldn't ask for more. If you want your child to feel safe, happy and loved, you can feel confident that this provider will deliver!

Our daughter started here when she was 7 months old and was in her care for approximately 5 years and she liked going to this provider the whole time. The provider has a Gentle yet firm countenance with all the children, which creates an overall atmosphere of respect. The children respect her and each other, creating calm and caring environment. There is planned day-to-day routine, with varying subject matter. Children respond positively to this schedule; They know what is expected of them and when. They do crafts and paint; Sage brought home a painting, drawing or craft almost every day, with extra special items for holidays etc..The provider takes them outside to play in her backyard playground everyday weather permitting, which the children love. We as parents have worked very hard and I can confidently say, “I know she has also worked very hard teaching and caring for our little girl and that she truly cared for her”. Our daughter has become a well-rounded little girl who can count, read, interact socially with her peers and displays great manners. I almost forgot to mention that Sage has Down’s Syndrome; We don't treat this as a handicap and keep high expectation of her, which she always lives up to. This provider has had the same philosophy; Never letting Sage get away with less, and never asking us for [redacted] closing, I would like to say that I truly trust this provider and felt comfortable knowing Sage was in her care.

Highly recommend this provider for child care and child development. Lillie loved being there, learned so much both education and interaction with other kids. We recommend her to all our friends relocating to the DC area. You won't find anyone more caring or more dedicated to the health, safety, and positive nurturing environment than this provider! Our 7 year old still talks about her time there, what she learned and the friends she made. Lillie started here at 8 weeks old and stayed until we moved overseas at age 4--she was well ahead of her peers in interaction, writing, reading, and counting. We even elected to have her stay instead of going to a preschool because she took the time to have a learning curriculum, had built the resources and learning tools (games, flash cards, music), and provided the one-on-one development that helped Lillie grow into an independent and happy young girl!
