First off, I want to make it known that the actual preschool teachers that run the show are so amazing! Sunshine and Kylie have such a passion for kids, are super patient, and very creative! I will miss them greatly! However, it does not seem that Sunshine is possibly working there at all any longer which is very unfortunate for those kids even though Kylie is still there. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE FACEBOOK REVIEWS!!! None of those parents attend anymore! Due to the nature of personal issues within their household, unfortunately things are going down hill. Now on to the lengthy part of the review. The man child who cashes the checks, Corey O'Connor, is the biggest issue of all! If he was no longer there, this program would be so great and able to function as it should! In August 2016, I was sold this amazing preschool product! I was given part of the product for the 2-3 months and then it all stopped. DON'T BE FOOLED!! Their rates are not "specials" as their website states, it is the actual rate. If you have a child enrolled in part time, meaning not 5 full days a week, and another family comes in wanting full time, you will get bumped! You will basically have 24 hours to either say yes you want full time or find your child somewhere else to go! We were even sold that kids go on field trips at least once a month, crafts and projects are done every day to take home, and that preschool curriculum was happening everyday between 9:00am and 2:45pm. Their website even says, which is all written by Corey, that they provide an ".....educational based child care service that prepares children for the future using an interactive approach that allows us to work with one child at a time...." Also a fat lie! Research again dude! The "structured curriculum" didn't happen! In the 8 months we were there, not one field trip occurred! My son brings more home now in just 1 week at his new preschool than he ever brought home from Sunny Place! Mind you there probably would have been more if Sunshine was given the funds from Corey to buy what was needed. They sent home newsletters for the first 3 months I was there; I donated supplies every time. Never once did I see the things I donated used. In the beginning, I had an issue with what my son ate because he is a picky eater and I wanted to know so that I could supplement for dinner and breakfast. I was given an update the first week and then was told by Corey that he doesn't have the time to pay attention because there are too many kids! Excuse me?! There are 3 adults with 12-16 kids, there is time for you to write down what kids are and are not eating at a parents request. Make a check list and mark it off! Or give us a food list like schools do and let us know what you are feeding our kids daily! Corey favors certain parents over others and lets their kids slide on a lot. For example, there is a baby there that is constantly sick with a croupy cough and constant running nose. But if an older kid randomly coughs or sneezes or has a goober in their eye, they are turned away the minute they walk in! He talks crap about other parents to other parents. There is a lot that I know about other families that is none of my business!! But Corey will freely share about other parents and kids' problems and not keep anything confidential!! He was also thinking about bringing a volunteer in but when he asked another mom who knew this lady and was told it wasn't okay that she was there with our kids, he basically told her that it would be unfortunate if she left but that was her decision! NOT OKAY! Never even told any other parent for us to give an opinion or ask questions to see if this lady was even qualified! NOT SAFE! I could go on for days regarding Corey's so called business practices, the way he treats his employees, and ultimately the children! Even when you walk in the door this dude is attached to his phone and not paying any attention to the kids. This troll of an excuse for a man is a liar and a manipulator! Bottom line......DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
