First Year's University is a state-certified daycare located in Homewood, IL. Our mission is to provide high-quality childcare in a warm environment that is safe, loving and nurturing. We understand the importance of the first years of learning and development. First Years University Preschool & Daycare is a state-certified childcare center located on Dixie Hwy in the heart of historic Downtown Homewood, IL. We offer year-round affordable childcare for infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers, and school-age children from age 6weeks -12years of age. We also offer before-and-after school daycare services with transportation and summer camp to accommodate all of our parent's busy schedules. Finally, we encourage our families to participate in our special events like our many field trips or family games nights! The purpose of our program is to meet the continuously changing development of children’s physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs. Our goal is to provide childcare professionals who serve as role models in early childhood education for the children and families we serve. We have carefully selected a loving, caring, experienced staff, and together we will work to provide whatever is developmentally appropriate for each child and help them grow to their fullest potential. All of our staff members are state-certified and experienced in providing quality childcare for children. We will implement plans that will aid in the development of each child and their individual needs.
