Chestnut Grove Child Development Center, Phoenix

At Chestnut Grove, we've been enriching preschool children since 1964. We seek to nurture Christian attitudes in children by providing an environment of love and acceptance. Children of all creeds and races are welcome. Our program provides opportunities for two, three and four-year-olds to develop strong social skills, relate to teachers and other children, follow directions, listen, develop imagination and experiment with a wide variety of materials. The Chestnut Grove program is implemented through structured daily activities in a play-based environment. Children are encouraged to participate in all activities, but they are given options and the flexibility to pursue their own interests. Time is provided to explore different media in art, language development and math skills, and to learn about the world around them. The emphasis is on the development of the whole child.
