At Washington Hebrew Congregation’s Rabbi Joseph Weinberg Early Childhood Center (RJWECC), children are encouraged to be creative and curious. Our inquiry-based educational approach, which integrates a Judaic and secular curriculum, embraces the very best of developmentally appropriate practice. A WELCOMING CLASSROOM Our welcoming classrooms have learning areas for block play, dramatic play, math, science, language and literacy, and motor skills. AN ENGAGING CAMPUS Our outstanding campus includes five outdoor playgrounds, a computer lab, a media center, and dedicated space for science and art programming. EXPERIENCE-DRIVEN Our days are filled with both teacher-led and child-initiated activities. The teachers spend time helping children communicate with each other, negotiate problems, ask questions, value their own ideas, and discover the joy of learning.
