Play-based learning in a loving family atmosphere. 2018 Family Childcare Provider of the year. I have always enjoyed working with children. I strive to give children and their families the best care possible. I respect each child’s individuality and make sure that their needs are met. My philosophy is to create an environment that feels as close to a child’s home as possible. My program is developmentally appropriate, play based, and the curriculum is child led. Our schedule is flexible so that on the days that the children want to spend extra time doing something, we are able to rearrange our activities so they can finish their activities and have fun! The children are given long uninterrupted blocks of time to play. I observe the children and develop curriculum around their interests. Play is a child’s work.
