Sunnyside Child Daycare is a year-round home-based daycare in Schertz, TX. Our family child care program is run by Griselda Calderon who has 20 years of child care experience. We are open from 6:00am until 6:00pm and care for children as young as 12 months through 10 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care, including drop in care. We also have private kindergarten, as well as before and after school care for children up to 10 years old. We provide meals and offer a peanut free environment. My son is now 4 and has been attending this daycare since he was 18 months old. After a previously bad experience with a "church affiliated" daycare it was a breath of fresh air to enroll him into this home day care. I felt assured that he would be well taken care of with a loving provider when I first met Griselda. My son began to excel immediatley and continues to do so socially and with his education. In fact I have kept him here rather than enrolling in Pre-K as he gets more one on one attention with this daycare. It will be a sad to when we have to depart but will always keep her in mind for childcare in the future as needed.
