Welcome to Stonehedge Little Children’s Place, your loving and intimate home daycare and preschool in Silver Spring, MD! Nestled in the friendly Stonehedge Condominium neighborhood, my licensed family child care is located between Calverton and White Oak, right next to Stonehedge Local Park. With easy access to Columbia Pike and just minutes from New Hampshire Ave, drop-off and pick-up your little one will be convenient.

I offer both full-time and part-time care from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Infants, toddlers and preschoolers from 6 weeks to 5 years old are welcome. My daycare is peanut-free and tree-nut free, ensuring a safe environment for children with allergies (snacks are included in the tuition). At Stonehedge Little Children’s Place, I believe that learning should be fun! My program emphasizes the importance of play in learning, ensuring that your child enjoys every moment while gaining valuable skills. My play-based curriculum includes essential activities like reading, writing, and coloring, all designed to foster your child's development in a joyful setting. Physical activity is a key part of our day. We regularly take children to the nearby community playground, just a short 5-minute walk from my home. This not only provides opportunities for natural sunlight and fresh air but also promotes a healthy mind and body.

I’m the owner and primary caregiver here, and I have 3 years of experience in child care. I hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting and certifications in CPR and First Aid. As a parent myself, I understand the joys and challenges that come with raising children. This personal experience allows me to relate to both parents and children, creating a supportive environment for everyone. My journey into child care began with babysitting, and this early experience ignited a passion that led me to open Stonehedge Little Children’s Place. I find immense joy in interacting with children because they are so innocent and fun. Their laughter is contagious and makes each day a lovely experience!
