Brookfield Children's Place is a home-based daycare and preschool located in Springfield, VA. The daycare is located near Brookfield Plaza, off Backlick Rd (route 617) and the Franconia-Springfield Pkwy (route 289). You will have no trouble getting to work everyday since the child care facility is also very close to Old Keene Mill Rd (route 644) and the I-95 Henry G. Shirley Memorial Hwy.
About the Provider
The owner and main caregiver is a mother of 2 kids with 10 years of professional child care experience. She runs an intimate child care and early childhood education program for a maximum of 4 students. She's always had love and passion for working with kids and families, so she decided to open her own family child care program (prior to that, she worked at another daycare center). She's CPR and First-aid certified, so you can be sure that your little one is in good hands.
Program Details
Brookfield Children's Place is open year-round between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm, Mondays to Fridays. The program offers full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 1 week, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. The caregiver offers a play-based early learning program and serves her little students peanut-free and tree-nut free lunch and snacks.
Before and after school care are available for older kids, up to 9 years old (the home daycare is close to Garfield Elementary School). The facility has all necessary educational toys for children and a playground where they can have fun and play outdoors. In addition to English, the owner can also teach Spanish, Bengali, Urdu and Hindi upon request.

The owner is an incredibly loving and nurturing caregiver. Our toddler daughter had a negative experience with her previous daycare however she was so patient with her (and us!) and really worked with our daughter at her own pace. It was very bittersweet when our time with her came to an end (our daughter has since started school) It was such a comfort to have our daughter get excited about car rides to this daycare and say "bye mommy" as soon as she got into the daycare's door. She also does a great job with the curriculum; our daughter learned her shapes, numbers and colors with her. We are so thankful to have had such a safe and wonderful childcare experience.

We absolutely love this Family Child Care. We trust the owner and it feels like a home away from home for our son. The space is clean and organized. It is clear that she really cares about the kids. She has good communication and is attentive. This is our first child and first daycare, and we are so happy that we found her. Having a trusted daycare provider is priceless.

As a first time mom and first experience with daycare, the owner made me feel at ease and I couldn't be happier that I chose Brookfield Children's Place. She is very sweet, nice, and personable. You can tell she really cares for all the children like they were her own. She communicates very well. She makes an effort to make sure every parent and child is happy with her care.

This provider cared for my one-year-old son and occasionally babysat for both my kids between last fall and the COVID-19 shut-down. She is a very caring and attentive provider, who adapted to the changing needs of my baby as he grew older. The space is clean and friendly. Her sweet preschooler was also a nice playmate for my son. We miss spending time with her and hope to return when schooling and childcare resume as normal.

This is an amazing babysitter. She took care of my baby as her own baby. Very caring and loving person she is. My daughter loved her so much.. I was so relaxed and tension free while living my daughter at this place..my daughter learned good manners and she knows all her alphabets and numbers now..I'm very happy with her service..I wish her good luck in future..She is the best babysitter I've ever met..
