Old Keene Mill Children's Place, Springfield

Hi, parents! Welcome to Old Keene Mill Children's Place, our home-based daycare in Springfield, VA. We are a mother and daughter team, and we run a small and cozy child care program (well care for a maximum of 4 children only, so you can be sure that your little one will receive plenty of individual attention!) I am the owner and main caregiver, and my daughter is my assistant. I have 20 years of child care experience, and my daughter has 4 years of experience. She holds a Bachelors' degree and were both CPR and First-aid certified. In addition to English, we also speak Urdu and Hindi and at your request, we can expose your child to these foreign languages.

Our home daycare is always well-maintained and offers a safe and home-like child care environment. We have a designated playroom where children can play and have fun. Our facility also has a backyard and if weather permits, children also play outside and enjoy all available toys such as trampoline, bikes, etc. We provide 3 meals a day to all the children in our care (breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included in the tuition)! Our family child care program is open year-round from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, seven days a week and overnight care on weekends (please note that standard tuition is for a maximum of 9 hours per day; please inquire about extended day rates). We can provide full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 3 weeks, as well as toddlers through preschoolers up to 5 years old, including children with special needs. For older kids up to 14 years old, we can accommodate before and after school care (were within walking distance from Keene Mill Elementary School and Irving Middle School). If you need occasional child care only, we can also accomodate drop-in care.

Old Keene Mill Children's Place is located off Old Keene Mill Rd in the Westview Hills neighborhood of West Springfield, VA. Our child care home is conveniently located for working parents since we're only about 5 minutes away from both the I-395 / I-95 and I-495. We're also a 5-10 min drive from the Franconia Metro station and there are express buses near our home that go straight to the Pentagon.
