Hello! My name is Robert Smith and I am the Regional Director here at the Y Preschool in Towson. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and English. Being a father of two young children and one teenager, I understand the importance of making sure our children are exposed to a safe, loving, and educational preschool environment. With over fifteen years of experience, I am committed to making sure our preschool exceeds the expectations of our families and the community that we are privileged to serve. With an average tenure of about 12 years, our teaching team is dedicated to helping every student reach their fullest potential in spirit, mind and body. Our students are assessed three times a year so that teachers can implement individualized curriculum experiences that meet the needs of every student. Our center is located across the street from the new courthouse on the corner of Bosley and Chesapeake Avenue in Towson. We have five classrooms and a capacity of 78 children at one time. Our center holds monthly free family events, including Family Game Night, Movie Night, an Art Expo and various parenting workshops.
