Welcome to Valley View Children's Place, our bilingual Spanish daycare and preschool in Alexandria, VA. Our child care facility is located in the Valley View neighborhood, near 2 major roads: Richmond Hwy (US-1) and S Kings Hwy (route 633). We also have easy access to Telegraph Rd (route 611). I’m the owner and main caregiver, and I have a decade of professional experience in child care and early childhood education. As a mom of 3 myself, I know you’re worried about leaving your child with someone you barely know while you’re away working. Most parents feel that way, especially if it's the first time leaving your little one at daycare. At Valley View Children's Place, we make sure that each child is treated as our own, and each one receives plenty of individualized attention. In addition to my credentials, I hold a Child Development Associate's degree. I’m also CPR & First-aid certified, as well as M.A.T trained so I can administer medication to all kids under our care. Before opening my home daycare facility, I worked for another licensed center working with infants, toddlers, and pre-K students. I run my child care program with my mom as an assistant, and she has 32 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Infant Care. We’re both moms and passionate about child care and early education, so your child will be in good hands.

Valley View Children's Place is a bilingual Spanish child care program. We teach our students the Spanish Language in addition to English, which is a wonderful opportunity for your child to become bilingual at a young age. We also have learning posters in both English and Spanish. I will be teaching early academic subjects such as Math, Language, Science, and Art. We have fun extra-curricular activities in store for them, such as circle time and art projects. Our daycare also has a private playground that they will surely enjoy. Our daycare offers a warm and stimulating environment, it is well furnished and decorated. Our space feels like a classroom where learning is the core of our program.

Our daycare and preschool is open all year-round from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We provide full-time care for children between the age of 3 months and 5 years old, including children with special needs (I have an ADA certificate). We provide peanut and tree-nut free snacks and lunch to all kids attending our program, and these meals are already included in the tuition. For school-age children up to 12 years old, we can offer before and after school care (we’re less than 1 mile away from Groveton Elementary School, Bucknell Elementary School and Hybla Valley Elementary School). We also have a fun summer camp program in the summer.
