Maple Grove Estates Childcare is a spacious home-based program that offers a play-based teaching philosophy and is geared toward children under 4 years old. The daycare facilities are clean with lots of natural light and tons of age-appropriate toys that create an inviting and playful environment. Weather permitting children spend two hours playing in the very large grassy fenced yard with tons of outdoor toys and equipment. The program is well-situated near major highways, metro stations, a bus stop and a mall.

Maple Grove Estates Childcare is conveniently located within a couple of miles from the I-95 & I-495, the Franconia-Springfield and Van Dorn metro stations, and the Springfield Mall. This is a spacious and bright daycare that offers year-round care for children from birth through 4 years old in a pet and smoke-free home. Maple Grove Estates Childcare has been in business for 13 years serving civilian and military families alike. Meals are not provided, so parents send lunch from home. The provider encourages nursing mothers to send breast milk, or to stop by during the day to nurse their little ones. She has an open door policy and encourages parents to come by at any time. Maple Grove Estates Childcare has a standard vacation and sick policy. If a child is sick with 101 fever or loose bowels, he/she must be picked up within an hour and be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to daycare. The program does not offer reduced tuition due to illness or vacation. Maple Grove Estates Childcare does participate in a subsidized child care program, but parents have to cover any remaining amount of tuition.

Maple Grove Estates Childcare follows a play-based teaching philosophy that uses redirection for discipline and helps children develop social and motor skills, including good manners. Math, physical activity, art, coloring, and music are all part of a daily curriculum with the greatest emphasis put on reading and writing. They pride themselves on how advanced their little students are when they enter school. The daycare has a maximum capacity of 12 kids and the program is individualized to the needs of each child with monthly assessments of their development. There's no television at Maple Grove Estates Childcare and weather-permitting, children get two hours of daily outdoor activity in the spacious fenced-in grassy backyard. The lead teacher, is a native Amharic speaker and upon request from the parents can use it with the children.

The lead teacher and owner of Maple Grove Estates Childcare, has a Child Development Associates and 18 years of child care experience. She has raised 6 of her own grown children and has 10 grandchildren. This provider is CPR, First Aid and M.A.T. certified and is able to administer prescription medication.

Maple Grove Estates Childcare serves military families among others and all staff undergoes a background check every year.
