Dear parents, thank you for your interest in my family child care program! I’m the owner and main caregiver at Glasgow Park Playhouse in Alexandria, VA. I’m a mother of 2 and I am CPR First-aid certified. I have 10 years of child care experience along with a Master’s degree in Home & Child Care Management (I have owned and operated my own home daycare for 5 years).
I offer full-time child care for infants as young as 1month, and for children up to 5 years old. I participate in the USDA Food Program and provide lunch and snacks to the children in my care (included in the tuition). I will also provide dinner to children who stay in my care after 6pm.
My standard daycare hours of operation are from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
My curriculum helps children prepare for school. I engage my little students in fun, educational activities, such as arts, dancing, reading books, practicing handwriting, manners, etc. In addition to English, I speak Hindi and Urdu so if you’d like, I can expose your child to a foreign language (however, I don’t offer a bilingual or full immersion daycare).
Glasgow Park Playhouse is located in Alexandria VA, in the Barcroft Terrace neighborhood. My home daycare is very conveniently located off Columbia Pike (route 244), near Glasgow Park. Your commute to work will be very convenient since I'm also a few minutes' drive away from Lincolnia Rd (route 613) and Leesburg Pike (route) 7.

We absolutely love this child care provider and her family. Every time we leave our son at daycare we feel like we are leaving him in a warm hug. The whole family is absolutely wonderful and love our son so much. She sends lots of pictures that help with the transition to daycare. Our daughter loves this daycare and is always excited to go. She has been here since she was 6 months old. The teachers take great care of her and the whole family is very friendly. They are very flexible as well and we can see how much they care for our daughter.

She is so caring. She told us before Caroline was born that she treats the kids she takes care of as if they are her own, and it shows! Caroline loves her and her family and clearly feels their love in return. 10/10 would recommend.

This caregiver has been taking care of our 16 months old son for 8 months. She is patient, caring and accommodating and we would recommend her. Our son seems happy going there every day and we trust that he is in good hands

We are so happy that we found this family childcare, my son has been there since 9m months and he is now 2. We love the whole family. They are nice and caring. Noah is always happy there. We would highly recommend her.

This provider showed our family patience, understanding, and gave our son the best care. We are happy to answer any questions and recommend her 100%. She is very knowledgeable in child care and really invests her time to get to know the child and the family. she was always very professional and kind.

My son has been with her since he was 6 months and he is now 4 years old. He is in school now but I still have her as his babysitter. What your child likes we should love. She is a wonderful person very caring. I am glad I found her.
