About Us
I am the owner and director of this licensed in-home daycare and along with my three caregivers and child care assistants, we strive to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow and thrive! I have 16 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Our three caregivers bring more than 20 years of combined experience to our home-based daycare. We maintain a low teacher-to-child ratio to ensure that each child receives the personalized attention they deserve. Our goal is to nurture a foundation for development and help each child reach their full potential in a supportive and loving setting. We are passionate about early childhood education and are committed to supporting the development of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in our care.
Program Information
At Green Valley Children's House, we offer flexible programs to meet the needs of busy families. Our daycare is open from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and we provide full-time, part-time, and drop-in care for children aged 1 month to 4 years old. Most instruction and activities are in English, but we also teach our young students the Spanish language. We have an open door policy, and parents are welcome to visit anytime. We provide meals and snacks daily, including breakfast, lunch, as well as morning and afternoon snacks (all included in the tuition!) Meals vary weekly to ensure a balanced diet, and infants receive baby food. We aim to be inclusive, and can accommodate children with special needs, so please inquire about your specific situation.
Curriculum & Activities
At Green Valley Children's House, we believe that learning should be fun and engaging. We know that children learn best through play, so we balance structured activities with plenty of free playtime. Indoor activities range from story-time and music to building with blocks and creative arts and crafts. Weather permitting, we also enjoy daily outdoor play in our safe and spacious backyard, where children can run, climb, and explore nature. For our preschoolers (ages two through five), we follow the Mother Goose Time curriculum, a professionally planned preschool program designed to be used in child care homes and centers. This curriculum offers a mix of entertaining and educational activities, including art projects, games, songs, storytelling, and science experiments. Your child will enjoy a variety of themes each month that make learning exciting and hands-on. For our infants and toddlers (under 24 months), we focus on age-appropriate developmental activities that encourage motor skills, language development, and sensory exploration. Activities include tummy time, reaching and grasping exercises, crawling, walking, and interactive play with toys and books. Please contact us on CareLuLu to schedule a tour or to discuss your child care needs. We look forward to welcoming your child into our child care family!

Our daughter absolutely loves daycare! She is always happy to be dropped off and loves spending time with the adults and children alike. We truly like the in home feel and how it feels more like a family then a large daycare center.

We have really enjoyed having our son at this child care program. They are a great team. We started bringing our son at 1 1/2; this is our only child so the first time we'd tried daycare anywhere. They do craft activities often and special crafts at holidays, he gets outdoor time, he has good interactions with other children and babies at the daycare. My son has had constipation issues off and on, and the whole team did a good job of choosing... more

The whole team has done a tremendous job of taking care of our son as well as each other child there. The kids always look happy and active when I come and go from the home. I would 10/10 recommend!

The staff is friendly and the daycare environment is safe for children. They don't seem to have any curriculum for child development and learning other than toys and taking the children out to the park.
Response from the provider:
Rochelle, Our program operates on a play-based model, which research shows enhances children's academic and... more
