Welcome to Dominion Hills Kids Playhouse, my licensed home-based daycare and preschool in Arlington, VA. I’m located in the Dominion Hills neighborhood, near Wilson Blvd and Upton Hill Regional Park.

About Me:
I’m the owner and main caregiver of this nurturing, fun-filled family daycare and early education program. I’m a professional child care provider with 18 years of experience. As a mom myself, I know you want nothing but the best for your little one. At my child care facility, I treat every child as if they were my own. My goal is to create a harmonious relationship with parents, making my home daycare an extension of their family.
Curriculum:
My daycare and preschool is a play-based program and we also use the Montessori philosophy to benefit your child’s learning. My daycare has bright colors, wall decors everywhere, and age-appropriate toys and learning materials.
We have a well-planned curriculum with many activities for children, including teaching sign language, kindness, leadership skills, developing the use of good manners, learning how to work with one another, learning letters and numbers, as well as improving fine and gross motor skills.
Program:
I offer full-time care for newborn babies, as well as toddlers through preschoolers up to 5 years old, including children with special needs. I'm open all year from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. All kids attending full-time are provided with lunch and snacks (included in the tuition). My daycare is a peanut and tree-nut free environment to avoid possible allergies.
I can also accommodate school-age kids up to 10 years old, and offer before and after school care (I’m within 5 minutes’ drive from Ashlawn Elementary School and Arlington Traditional Elementary School).

My son has been attending since he was about 5months old, now that he’s almost 3 his little brother will attend as well this coming month. Putting trust in someone to take care of your kids is hard to find. This caregiver makes you feel like home and loves the kids very much. I’m very happy with the entire staff and my son enjoys going everyday!

I just love everything about this daycare. The owner and her family take such good care of my baby and they treat her like family. I trust them completely and my baby comes home every day very happy.

We have been very pleased with this daycare! We found her a few months after having to move my son to a new daycare when I got a new job. Looking for a new daycare is always a little stressful, but we quickly became very comfortable and confident leaving our son with her. The owner and her group are beyond amazing. In the beginning we were worried about leaving our 3 month old with anyone but after the first time meeting with her our worries were gone. She genuinely cares about each one of the children and anyone would be lucky to be able to have her take care of their child.

The caregiver is amazing! We couldn’t be happier we found someone as wonderful as she is to be able to care for our daughter. With different ages of children, our infant daughter is able to learn from them and progress what feels like a little bit quicker. We hope to never have to leave until she has to go to Pre K!

The caregiver impressed us immediately with her warmth and natural, calm personality. We can tell she truly cares about her kids and they all respect her. She provides home made food and cooks feasts for all the families each quarter. She's flexible, kind, and easy to coordinate with. We've been very happy.

We are so fortunate to have found this provider. She loves the kids like they’re her own and teaches them so much, she’s not just a babysitter. She has a planned curriculum with the kids, including teaching baby sign language, using manners, learning letters and numbers, and improving fine motor skills.
