Guiding Star Child Development Center is a mission of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. We provide exceptional child development services in a safe, nurturing, Christian environment.
We believe that children learn best through play! It is their natural method of exploration and self discovery. Our well trained teachers provide daily “hands-on” developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that are based on the interest of the children. As a result, the learning process is meaningful, tangible, and most importantly enjoyable. A life-long love of learning is developed! We believe this lays the foundation for each child's academic success.

Our son started at Guiding Star's Joy Home when he was 14 weeks. His teachers are incredibly kind and caring and seem to genuinely love all of the babies they care for. The 1:3 ratio and individualized schedules mean they all get the attention and care they need. There is a weekly curriculum posted in the room but I wish parents could get more photo/written updates re: the curriculum since, as babies, they can't share how their day went/what... more
