About Me
As the owner and primary child care provider, I bring 20 years of experience working with children and families at the Department of Social Services. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and I am CPR and First Aid certified, as well as MAT trained to administer medication if needed.
As a mother of four grown children, I understand the importance of finding a trustworthy caregiver who will treat your child with the same love and attention you would. Opening my own daycare has always been my dream, and I am excited to serve my community and make a positive impact on the lives of young children.
I believe that a child care provider is not just a caregiver but also a mentor, guide, and support system. I look forward to building strong relationships with your family and helping your child build a strong foundation both academically and emotionally!
Curriculum & Daily Activities
At Lakeview Little Children's House, our curriculum is designed to support your child’s development through a well-planned, stimulating environment. We promote and support reading, and our structured learning activities help children learn colors, shapes, letters, and numbers. We use the play-based teaching philosophy and our goal is to provide an excellent foundation for creative learning.
Children at our daycare engage in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including free play, arts and crafts, puzzle time, and music. We believe that each child is unique and develops at their own pace, so our early education program is designed to accommodate and expand on each child’s interests and developmental abilities.
Our daily schedule includes Creative Learning (activities that develop cognitive and social skills), and Physical Activities (both indoor and outdoor play to promote physical development). We also focus on Arts and Crafts (encouraging creativity and fine motor skills) as well as Story Time (fostering a love for reading and language skills).
Thank you for considering Lakeview Little Children's House for your child care needs. I look forward to welcoming your family and supporting your child’s growth and development every step of the way!
