Welcome to Greencastle Lakes Kids Playhouse, my licensed home-based daycare and preschool in Burtonsville, MD. My child care facility is nestled in Greencastle Lakes, a safe and quiet neighborhood in the Silver Spring Country community. I am located two minutes off of Briggs Chaney Rd and very close to the Route 29 freeway exits, just 5 minutes from the Intercounty Connector 200 Rd. Perfect for your daily commute to work!

I’m a licensed child care provider and early educator and I have 15 years of experience, which includes the raising of my own son and providing care to other families throughout my life. As a mom myself, I know we’ll have an instant connection and understanding of how your little one should be taken care of. Every child in my care is treated as if they were my own, so parents can return to work with peace of mind, knowing that their child is in good hands and is being loved, nurtured, and is part of a loving family. I'm a passionate caregiver, and you will often find me happy, singing and dancing with the children in my care :)

Greencastle Lakes Kids Playhouse offers a combination of play-based and preschool curriculum. My curriculum covers ABCs, numbers, writing, and block play. I emphasize manners like respect and kindness. I also engage them in activities where kids would identify body parts, animals, the days of the week, and facial expressions. I value self-expression through art, so crafts are a big part of our activities. I offer full-time and part-time care and can accommodate infants as young as 3 months, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. I also provide snacks to all kids in my care, which are already included in the tuition. My daycare is a peanut and tree-nut free environment to prevent any possible allergies.
