The program for preschool students is designed to spark the awareness and creativity of the burgeoning personality. This prepares children socially, physically, and academically for kindergarten. Children are grouped according to age and development, which enhances peer interaction. The preschool program includes a hot, nutritious lunch and a beverage, and a snack. Parents are welcome to visit any time, but we do suggest the morning hours. Morning visits allow better observation of Pinecrest’s instructional methods and will not disturb our afternoon sleepers. It is the mission of the Pinecrest Preschools to provide a fully integrated preschool program designed to foster the child’s social and emotional growth, as well as their physical and mental development. In addition, a sequential learning curriculum will be delivered to prepare each child for academics in kindergarten and elementary school. The preschool will provide superior before and after school care as an aid to working parents.
