Established in 1998. I started Ms. Sam's Family Day Care to stay at home with my own children, but fell in love with watching little ones grow, develop, and mature. Now 17+ years later, my business and reputation has grown, and several years ago I decided to carve out a niche-business within the family day care industry, and follow the local school district's calendar. This allowed me to spend summers with my children while they are still in school, it also allows teachers, or other parents, to have the summers off with their children, without worrying about (and paying for.....) finding a slot for their child in the fall.
