Creative Corner, Easton

Our teachers believe that each child is a unique individual with different needs, strengths, and developmental rates. To meet each child's needs, we provide a rich variety of activities and experiences, as well as an atmosphere of love, understanding, and acceptance. Creative Corner uses 4 different curricula chosen specifically to benefit each age group. All curricula are MSDE approved and include all domains of Learning (Social, Language, Science, Math, Literacy, Creative Arts, Music and Physical Development.): Creative Curriculum & High Reach Program – Specializing in strong language growth and social interaction for Infants, Toddlers & Twos classes MacMillian – Whole Child approach to learning with focus’ in math, science and social studies for our Threes class Houghfin – Strong classroom center base program with emphases on Phonics, Math & Science for our Fours class. This program is also used by Talbot county schools Kindergarten and helps with transition into public school system. Each class has its own yearly thematic schedule based on their classroom curricula’s, children’s interest & seasonal events. By having classroom themes vs. center wide themes, each class is able to have the full access to center resources on the topic. This gives each child full discovery opportunities.
