I’m the owner and main caregiver and I have 8 years of child care and early childhood education experience. I’m also a mom, so I can certainly relate to your needs and concerns when it comes to finding the best care for your child. I’m a professional caregiver who wants to help families in the area by providing affordable, high-quality child care in a safe learning environment. Warren Woods Cozy Playhouse is a bilingual Spanish program so in addition to English, I can teach your child the Spanish language. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to become bilingual at a very young age. My daily routine is designed to stimulate your child's intellectual and motor skills. In the morning, I guide the children through a preschool curriculum that includes essential concepts such as colors, numbers, and shapes, along with captivating story time sessions. For infants, I focus on crucial developmental milestones such as tummy time, which strengthens their muscles, and hands-on activities like grasping toys and spoons to refine their motor skills. We also sing songs that not only delight but also educate. These songs teach letters and colors, making learning a joyful experience. Moreover, weather permitting, we embrace outdoor fun with water play, providing a refreshing and stimulating environment for your child.

I offer full-time for infants, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. I can also accommodate drop-in care for families only looking for occasional child care needs. For school-age children, I can provide before and after school care (my home is close to Fairfax Villa Elementary School). My daycare is open all year round from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I serve lunch and snacks to all kids attending my program and these are already included in the tuition. To prevent possible allergies, I run a peanut and tree-nut free environment. In my child care space, I've set up special stations for everything from kitchen and home activities to imaginative dress-up play. The room has plenty of natural light, cheerful carpets and colorful wall decor. I display learning curriculum on the walls as well, offering a rich environment for early education. We also have a circle time center, and my library corner has books for infants and toddlers.

Warren Woods Cozy Playhouse is located in the Warren Woods neighborhood in Fairfax, VA. Your daily commute to work will be very convenient since I have easy access to Lee Hwy (US-29), Main St. (route 236), Chain Bridge Rd (route 123), and State Hwy 655.
