Fort Mill Preparatory Cooperative Preschool serves infants and toddlers, along with preschooler and kindergarten age children. FMPCP also has an after school program and summer camp. We offer a well-organized preschool program for the whole child that meets the physical, emotional,social, and intellectual needs of our students. We provide a positive approach to learning through play and hands on experience. FMPCP has been serving the community in Fort Mill, South Carolina for over 11 years. We became a nonprofit preschool in 2011-2012. --Section 501(c) (3) code: Fort Mill Preparatory Cooperative Preschool is for the public and is not served by a private interest. FMPCP was designed to provide a preschool in which any child/family can participate. FMPCP encourages the involvement of the communiy as a whole. The school tuition is for charitable purposes and no parts of the net earnings benefit any private shareholder or individual. Please read about our Parent Co-operative opportunities. FMPCP teachers are either SC State Certified Early Childhood Educators or have a degree in Early Childhood. Each classroom has a teacher board where we display the educational certificates and/or degrees of our teachers. We have a very diverse staff, which includes teachers from different countries and teachers who have many years of experience as both mothers and educators.We work with SC First Steps BabyNet and SCPITC a program for infant and toddler care.Fort Mill Preparatory Cooperative Preschool is a non-profit preschool influenced by parents, teachers, cooperative parents, and the director. With parents making choices about the program, the first priority isto create an environment where our children will thrive, become prepared for school, and enjoy school in a safe and nurturing environment. The school policies are designed to make life easier for working families. Our Goal is to have the best preschool in the York county area. The parents and FMPCP join together to make sure that each child has the very best in early learning and each child has a voice about their experience.
