Carmen Armijos Family Child Care is a home-based daycare in Gardena, CA. We are open during the academic year and closed in July. Our family child care program is run by Carmen Teresa Armijos. We are open from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm and care for children as young as 2 years through 10 years old, including children with special needs. We offer both full-time and part-time child care, including drop-in care. We also have private kindergarten, as well as before and after school care for children up to 10 years old. This daycare is a hidden gem. Our little one loves going to school every day. Kids are well taken care of, interact with a multi-cultural group of playmates. They are well fed, napped, and everyday, they come home with a packet of letters or numbers they worked on during the day. My 2yo knows all the letter sounds and is trying to mimic sounding out the words in our books. And, for the area, it is relatively inexpensive. Our only complaint might... more
