Pleasant Fields Kids Playhouse, Germantown

Hi parents! Welcome to Pleasant Fields Kids Playhouse, our licensed home-based daycare and preschool in Germantown, MD. I’m located in the Pleasant Fields neighborhood, near Williamsburg Square in Germantown. My child care facility is right off Clopper Rd and Mateny Rd, near Great Seneca Creek Elementary School. My daycare is conveniently located for all commuters since I have easy access to Great Seneca Hwy (route 199), and I’m a only few minutes’ drive from the I-270 Washington National Pike.

As parents, we all want what’s best for our little ones, especially in finding the best “second home” for them. I’m a licensed child care provider with 3 years of experience in early childhood education. I’m a mom myself, and I’m CPR and First-aid certified, so you can be sure that your child is always safe in my care. I am committed to the health and safety of all the children in my care, and have implemented thorough COVID prevention procedures. I wear gloves when I wipe each child's nose and if they seem to be ill, I monitor their temperature. We also vacuum and sanitize the cribs and highchairs at the end of each day, to maintain a clean environment for your child's well-being.

Pleasant Fields Kids Playhouse is open year-round from 7:00 am to 6:pm, Mondays to Fridays. I offer full-time care for infants as young as 3 months, as well as toddlers and preschoolers until 5 years old. I serve peanut and tree-nut free snacks to all children attending my program (included in the tuition). I can also provide before and after school care for school-age kids, up to 12 years old (my home is just 2 minutes’ drive away from Great Seneca Creek Elementary School). At our child care and preschool program, young students explore shapes, numbers, colors, animals, drawings, etc. Our curriculum is full of learning activities: I teach the children through play and we learn all the basics they need to start school. I have a backyard playground where kids spend their outdoor playtime (weather permitting of course). In addition to English, I speak a little bit of Spanish and Italian and if you want, I can expose them to these foreign languages.
