At Premier Academy, we are proud of the education the children in our care receive. Lesson plans for each age group are developed to ensure every child is challenged to reach his or her full potential. By teaching the Abeka Book curriculum, our students learn to recognize, read and understand letters and numbers. They also develop a sense of responsibility for themselves and their actions and an awareness of the importance to treat those around them with fairness and kindness. Because of the many successes each child celebrates daily, our students develop a high self-esteem, confidence in themselves and independence.
In addition to the standard lessons, students at Premier Academy also benefit from enrichment programs taught by specialists in their field. These programs include weekly lessons in Chapel, Spanish, P.E. and Music. Premier Academy provides all students in the Ones through Pre-K classroom with a professionally-developed music curriculum class each Wednesday morning, taught by Miss. Jane’s MusicPlay. Children receive standard-based music and movement and in a fun, action-packed class, which is proven to enrich brain development, hand-eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills, basic music theory, rhythm understanding and vocal/singing exploration and development.
