Childrens Garden Early Learning Community is dedicated to providing quality, licensed, experienced, and educational childcare and preschool in East Lansing, Michigan. We believe childrens early experiences should be educational, fun, and enriching. Childrens Garden Early Learning Community is more than early preschool, we are a family. Mission Statement Childrens Garden Early Learning Community: our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment that engages each childs individual interest and build the skills that will create a lifelong love of learning. Our program is based on our belief that: The focus of attention is on the whole child. The childs social, emotional, physical, language and cognitive development are equally important. Through developmental stages, each child grows at their own pace. Young children learn by doing, through experimentation, discovery, and using all of their senses. We encourage positive relationships that foster each childs sense of worth and belonging, as well as, their ability to contribute to our schools community. Each child is valued through nurturing, support, and recognition with respect of individual differences; learning style, needs, interests and family backgrounds. Modeling and encouraging positive social skills at an early age will contribute to a childs future school success. Teaching children to resolve conflict by identifying feelings, describing problems, and finding solutions. A childs learning process and positive self-image are enhanced by a creative environment that is intentionally designed for the child to experience interest, challenge, and success.
