River Creek Playhouse, Leesburg

Hello Parents! I am the owner of River Creek Playhouse in Leesburg, a loving and high-quality family child care and preschool program. As a mother of 2, I know that finding quality care in a safe environment is important. I have 14 years of experience and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology along with my CPR, first-aid, and MAT certifications. I run our in-home daycare and preschool with 2 assistants, including a teacher who has 8 years of experience and holds a Master’s in Education and is also pursuing an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education.

River Creek Playhouse is a play-based early childhood education program. We strive to provide high quality care but also to create an educational environment where your child will learn and grow. We use the Funshine Express early learning and preschool curriculum for age-appropriate activities for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We have circle time every morning where our young students learn about shapes, colors, days of the week, numbers, etc. We have a big art activity every week and have outside play twice a day. My goal is to teach children independence and respect. In addition to English, we speak Hindi and Urdu, and our teacher is a native Spanish speaker. Therefore, we can expose our students to a foreign language, or offer a bilingual environment to your child (upon your request). We provide lunch and snacks (included in the tuition), and offer a peanut free environment (we participate in the USDA food program).

Our family child care program is open year-round, Monday through Friday, from 7:30am until 5:00pm. We offer both full time and part time daycare for children as young as 2 months through 6 years old (including an age-appropriate curriculum for preschoolers). River Creek Playhouse is off River Creek Pkwy in Leesburg, VA (between River Creek Club and the Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets).
