About
All of Quala Care's staff members have been carefully selected for their ability to work with and care for young children. They all meet or exceed the Maryland State Department of Education requirements for pre-service training, education, and experience. All of our Teachers are certified in early childhood education and several have their Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
Quala Care has one of the lowest staff turn-over rates in the county. 25\\% of our staff have been with the center for more than 5 years and an additional 20\\% have been with us for more than 10 years!
Our teachers stay up-to-date on best practices and new developments in Early Childhood Education by completing at least 12 hours of continuing education each year while aides and other support personnel complete 6 hours each year.
Every spring many of the teachers attend the Maryland State Child Care Association Conference and we routinely attend the Annual Conference for the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Our owners, managers, and many staff members are members of both organizations and we actively participate in their programs.
