Hi parents, welcome to Watkin Mills Children's House in Montgomery Village! We are a mother and daughter team offering full-time and part-time child care for children from newborn to five years old. We also offer before and after school care for children up to 12 years old.
We are mothers ourselves (both of us have 2 children of our own), and have 17 years of experience. We are first-aid, CPR, and MAT certified. We offer lunch and snack to the children in our care, and our hours of operation are 7:30am to 5:30pm.
Watkin Mills Children's House is a home daycare conveniently located less than 1 mile away from Stedwick Elementary School, Montgomery Village Middle School, and Watkins Mill High School. Please contact us for more information or to come visit us. We look forward to meeting you!

I’m really happy with this day care. The staff are friendly and take good care of my 2 babies. They do fun activities, and my kids learned a lot. The place is always clean and safe. I get updates every day, so I know how things are going. I highly recommend it!

It is always gratifying to pick my little girl up, and see her smiling and enjoying the teachers. I appreciate the care and attention they give to her, and the regular updates we receive.

This place is great for toddlers! It’s a wonderful learning environment for children to thrive and learn. I send both my kids here while I’m working. I was pleasantly surprised that within the first two weeks of exposure to this environment my one and a half year old was able to count to 10.

We absolutely love this daycare. The owner and her staff are so warm and welcoming, and I love how much they adore my son. He always has a big smile on his face when I drop him off and when I pick him up. It's been almost a year and we plan to continue with this daycare as long as we can.

This daycare is my son’s second home, He loves going there to spend his day with the caregiver and his friends… I highly recommend her daycare! she’ listens to me and answer all my questions and concerns if any… she is always attentive and very responsive.

I recommend her, she is a reliable person, my two-year-old babies at first cried a lot when I left them and that generated a little mistrust in me, but now my children stay without a problem and without crying they like to go and that gives me security and confidence they are in a safe place

I would recommend this Family Child Care to any of my family or friends. My children really enjoyed themselves in her care for 4 months. Which was a huge help to us since our previous provider had to take leave to attend to her sick mother. This provider was great with Bradley and Rhys, she went above and beyond our expectations. I never had any worries about leaving the boys because I knew they were in great hands. Overall it was a wonderful experience for my children.

She was so wonderful working with my schedule when it came to my son and he really loved going. They took such amazing care of my little man and as a first time mom who is so anxious with anyone taking care of him, she made me feel very comfortable. And with the covid pandemic, they were very clean for extra safety.

This provider is amazing. I can be an obnoxiously worrisome parent, but this provider is always willing to talk, send pictures and communicate anything that’s going on with my little one. I trust her and she treats my son like one of her own children. If I have concerns or questions outside of daycare hours she responds quickly. She genuinely cares, and my son absolutely loves her.

Caring, convient, affordable. As a mother of two kids that need child care it was important to me to find a nurturing setting that still allowed them to be individuals. My children are excited for "school" every morning I would highly recommend this child care center.
