I am a college graduate with a degree in education and sixteen years of childcare experience. I have made the decision to offer my services outside of the bureaucratic school system where I can focus my attention more on the children's individual needs in a fostering environment and less on the paperwork. I am determined to make an overwhelmingly positive impact on the children I have the opportunity to work with. I have a substantial interest in developing good habits. By reinforcing positive behavior with peers & adults and teaching them socially acceptable mannerisms, your child(ren) will be standout students in the classroom setting and respectable at home. My fun approach to learning focuses on keeping the children stimulated. In addition to teaching the children how to keep a clean environment after play, I lead with example by cleaning my house and the toys regularly. Nutritional education is imperative for our future generations with the obesity epidemic our country faces (it is the 2nd leading cause of death in our country after tobacco smoke!) I focus on healthy meals every day, there is an organic option for every meal. Quality matters to me, and I ensure that every aspect of your child's care is associated with high quality. From the ingredients used in my meals to the lessons I plan, everything is selected with the purpose of creating the best environment for your child to grow in. Through my years of experience working in this setting with children, I have learned various techniques to uniquely address each individual child's needs. I provide flexible hours of operation from Monday-Friday from 7 am - 5:30 pm.
