Knollwood is a small school, with maximum enrollment of 43 children and a remarkable student-teacher ratio! Two teachers are assigned to the class of 13 two-year-olds. Two teachers are also assigned to the three and four-year-old classes, 15 students in each! We at Knollwood aim to help children blossom intellectually and emotionally while, at the same time, having purposeful fun along the way. When a child delights in learning, the door to a lifetime of discovery and adventure is opened. At Knollwood we strive to meet each child's social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs. We believe that children are happiest and most secure when they have repeated opportunities to succeed each day. Much of what we do is designed to facilitate self-confidence and self-esteem.
