Tater Tots Daycare is a year-round home-based daycare in Port Chester, NY. Our family child care program is run by Nidia Serrano who has 20 years of child care experience. We are open from 7:30am until 5:30pm and also offer overnight care from 5:30pm until 7:15am. We care for children as young as 2 months through 12 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care. We also have before and after school care for children up to 12 years old as well as homework help. We provide meals (included in tuition cost). All staff are trained and certified to care for children.

I will start off with what I found to be decent about this facility: the convenience. Easy to get to and within close proximity to my other children's schools. Nidia and her husband are very nice, warm and inviting. Facilities seem clean from what I recall, I believe due to Covid, very little opportunity to come into space for the obvious reasons. Ms. Nydia is an amazing caretaker. Since Brixton has been going there, Ive seen many changes. He is more verbal, responds to commands, and has grown to be independent. She is very attentive. For example, she notices when he isnt feeling well or just not himself, and when he comes home his clothes are clean and intact. She also communicates with me about him on a daily basis.

We have loved sending our daughter to Tatertots Daycare. she receives constant, hands-on attention and partakes in fun activities all day. she is always thrilled to arrive in the morning and hesitant to leave daycare because she has so much fun! Nidia always keeps us up to date with pictures and schedule updates of our child. We highly recommend!!

We absolutely love Nidia and Mimi. From our first day there they’ve been nothing but loving, kind and thoughtful. They go above and beyond what’s expected! My daughter absolutely loves them and comes home and talks about how fun school is all night. We’ve cannot be happier that they treat our daughter as their own family and look forward to spending the next few years with them!

Nidia and her crew at Tater-Tots are AMAZING! My daughter's face lights up with excitement when being dropped off in the morning. From keeping me up-to-date on my daughter's day to fixing her hair because I'm still learning how to work with curly hair, Tater-Tots go above and beyond. I am SO HAPPY to have found such a great daycare!

Tater toys it’s the best place for your kids, l have had my princes there for almost 2 years and it’s been súper,; my dougther has learned so much like no one can imagínate. highly recomend it

Aidan has been under Mrs. Serrano's care since he was 6 months old. Her and her staff have been very accommodating and understanding to Aidan's special needs. I cannot think of other better people to place my son's care under.

They are so amazing, both of my girls felt at home and were always treated so wonderful. My girls loved that they did arts and crafts, all while learning. The staff are caring and always with a smile. Nidia is a wonderful person and I would always recommend this place.
