Welcome to College Gardens Little Playhouse, a warm, licensed in-home daycare and preschool located in Rockville, MD. We’re nestled at the edge of the College Gardens neighborhood, just off Fordham St. Our location is highly convenient—just minutes from the intersection of W Gude Dr and Frederick Rd (MD 355), and close to I-270. We’re also only 2 minutes from the beautiful College Gardens Park, perfect for nature walks and outdoor play!

College Gardens Little Playhouse is open year-round, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. We offer full-time and part-time care for children starting at just 2 months old, and welcome infants, toddlers, and preschoolers up to 5 years of age. We’re also proud to provide care for children with special needs. We offer tree nut-free snacks, included in tuition, and optional lunches for an additional fee.

Hi, parents! I’m the owner and lead caregiver at College Gardens Little Playhouse. I bring over 6 years of child care experience, including 3 years here in Rockville as both a nanny and an assistant at a local daycare. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English Translation and I’m CPR and First Aid certified. Most importantly, I love working with children! Every day brings a new adventure, and watching kids learn and grow is the most rewarding part of what I do. I opened College Gardens Little Playhouse to create a safe, nurturing space where children are encouraged to explore, build confidence, and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Every child is unique, and our flexible approach allows us to tailor activities to individual interests and developmental needs. We make learning fun and engaging to help your child reach their full potential, all while preparing them for kindergarten and beyond.

• Arrival & Free Play – Children settle in and explore toys, blocks, and open-ended play. • Circle Time – Group songs, discussions, stories, and sharing time. • Literacy Time – Read-alouds, letter games, and early language activities. • Bilingual Opportunity – I'm fluent in both English and Persian; if desired, I can introduce your child to a second language! • Creative Arts – Painting, coloring, and crafts to support fine motor skills and creativity. • Snack Time – Healthy, nut-free snacks provided. • Cognitive Activities – Puzzle games, number drawing, and problem-solving. • Math Skills – Counting, sorting, and fun math games. • Outdoor Play – Physical activities like running and jumping to develop gross motor skills. • Learning Reinforcement – Age-appropriate practice and optional homework. • Quiet Time/Nap – Rest time with soft music or stories. • Free Play & Departure – Calm playtime before pickup.
