Welcome to My Sunshine DMV a Childcare Ministry WHERE KIDS SHINE FOR JESUS! We are a Family Children's Ministry daycare center that provides children with a Christian environment where they can shine bright in various areas like math, science, arts, practical life, language, and much more. We also provide a nourishing and stimulating environment where children develop independence, confidence, and a positive sense of self in the world around them. My Sunshine DMV was founded in 2019 with a vision of educating children in a Christian environment while receiving the proper education to get them ready for school. Making it a homey environmental childcare facility where parents can feel at ease leaving their children under our care knowing that they will be receiving the proper care and knowledge to brighten their futures. As a Christian facility, our MISSION is to provide children with an age-appropriate, quality education based on Christian principles and demonstrate it through the love and teachings of Jesus Christ. Children will be exposed to basic principles in the different areas of practical life, sensorial learning, arts, math, geography, science, and language. Principals like: respecting one another, honesty, trust, self-respect, love for others, kindness, appreciation, patience, and forgiveness. Our VISION is to provide a secure, caring, and enriched environment that promotes learning, and spiritual, mental, and emotional development. The educational PHILOSOPHY of My Sunshine DMV is God-centered and supports and promotes each child's uniqueness and highlights their special qualities. As a Christian-based center, we help children to learn compassion and respect for others and an awareness of the world around them. We believe that the family unit is the most important factor in a child's life. Therefore, building strong relationships with parents is very important to us and we take a partnership approach to child care.
