The Peanut Gallery Preschool, The Colony

The staff at The Peanut Gallery, The Colony wants our young students to feel at home every time they walk through the doors of our preschool. We take a skill-based approach to early childhood education and help families make the most of these amazing early years by attending to the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual needs of each child in our care. Our preschool programs are proven to place young children on the fast track to academic success, but when children enter kindergarten, it’s not necessary for them to know the names of all the dinosaurs or planets. What’s important is that they know how to cut with scissors, recognize letter shapes, follow directions, effectively communicate their feelings, complete simple math problems, and play well with their peers. These are the types of skills we develop through our skill-based Ascend Curriculum.
