As a non-profit agency serving primarily low income families, MBA has faced financial challenges over the years. The building MBA occupies is owned by the City of Lynchburg and is virtually rent free to the program. However, costs of maintenance and upkeep are MBA’s responsibility. The Mission of MBA is to provide quality child care in a nurturing and enriching early childhood learning environment that encourages accomplishment and strives for excellence for children during their formative years.
While at MBA, children are offered recreational, creative, academic, social and cultural activities. These children spend most of their daytime hours with us, and we take seriously the responsibility to make these hours the best they can be. The success of this effort has been evident in how well our children have fared when they enter public school.
