Countryside Daycare, Alma

Countryside Daycare provides a loving, safe, and educational environment. Along with a regular contract, I also have a no-bullying contract as well. I provide care for birth to age 12yrs and also offer preschool teaching in the morning 2 days per week from January to May. We use the summer for review and to get older children ready for kindergarten and higher grades. I operate out of my home and I strive to make the children feel like this is their home away from home. They become part of our family. My love for children is why I chose this career. We also have 2 dogs (American Eskimos) 2 cats and a rabbit as part of our family as I also have a love for animals :) We have a fenced-in play area for outside play with swings, a slide, a climber, a sandbox, and outside toys to ride on and play with. In the summer months, we go on nature walks as we have access to woods behind the property and can use the trail. We also do art and crafts, play games, read books, and have free play as free play is how children learn how to get along with one another and how to play as a group, and learn how to share. I do offer after-school care but tuition stays the same as a full day since I do hold a full-time spot for those children so when there is no school they will have a full day place in the daycare.
