Cathy Palmarchuk's Family Child Care, Arlington

My daughter started with Cathy when she was 11 months old. I cannot express my gratitude to her and her family for taking in and completely loving my child as their own! She was part of their family! Cathy made my life so much easier knowing I didn’t have to worry or question about my daughters well being. Cathy was more than just a caregiver she was my daughters second mom and I will always be grateful to her and her family!!

Cathy was the best babysitter we could have ever had. She babysat our daughter Allyson for right at 5 1/2 years. She always had fun activities and provided great meals and snacks for the children. Our daughter always looked forward to going to Miss Cathy’s each and every day. To this day she still talks about and remembers the great times she had there. She provides a very clean environment and safety was always a top priority. You can’t go wrong choosing her as your daycare provider.

Where do I begin! My daughter started at Mrs Cathy’s when she was about 10 months old and it was the absolute best choice I could have made for made for her and myself include. My niece also attend child care there for several years and my sister in law highly recommended. Mrs Cathy aka Grammy & Papa John became instant family. I was given daily updates and sent home with tons of color pages, cute little art projects, preschool work and a child that I knew was given as much love and attention as any parent could hope for. Truly there is no end to the caring and love that Grammy gives to HER KIDS. Be prepared to expect that your child will eat food at Grammy’s that they will not eat at home. She always had them trying new things and excited to do so! The bond that my daughter formed with Grammy and her friends there will last a life time! We moved to Keller over a year ago and I still chose to drive to south Arlington to insure my daughter was in a loving hands. She started kindergarten this year and tho only only a few weeks in, I can’t help but contribute most of her success to Grammy! My daughter is counting the days to her having days off from school that she will be able to see her Grammy! That’s an A+ in this moms book!

Cathy helped my daughter so much. As a toddler she had a lot of separation anxiety. Cathy was always so loving a patient with her. It only took a little while and my little girl would run to her in the mornings completely ready to start their day. She is an amazing caregiver. I could not have asked for a better caregiver for my daughter during her formative years.

Mrs. Cathy was an excellent caretaker for my son. Not only did he enjoy playing with other kids, but he enjoyed learning with her too. He was ready for school when the time came. It’s not just a daycare, it ends up being like a family.

I have had 2 daughters go through Mrs. Cathy's daycare. She is incredible. Never once worried if the kids were safe or being taken care of properly. Mrs. Cathy worked with both of my daughters to get them ready for school as well. She is very fair and upfront and just flat out loves kids. She is as good as family to us and we still maintain contact to this day.

Both of my children attended this home care from the time they were 6 weeks of age until they started school. I can not recommend Mrs. Cathy enough. When the kiddos were little, every day they had a report card letting me know how much they ate, any bowel movements, nap times, happy moods, bad moods, etc. as well as pictures through the day and anytime I wanted to call and check in I could. This was so important to me as a new mom. She also had suggestions and tips and tricks to try when parenting obstacles came up. Rather than just a daycare, it’s like a partnership. She was soooo helpful! As the kids progressed, she worked with me and our potty training goals as well as soft skills and basic curriculum. The kids started having school time and school work as well as outside play time and limited electronics. This was also super important to me. I wanted the kids to be engaged and not just plopped in front of a tv all day. By the time both kids started kindergarten, they already had a basic understanding of time, letters, sight words, math, etc. they definitely started ahead of the curve :) Last, safety was never a concern. Even with little bumps and bruises I was notified immediately. If you’re wanting childcare but also giving your kids the best experience, I 1000% recommend Mrs. Cathy as your provider.

Cathy was hands down the best care provider for my children. She cared for them from infancy until they started kindergarten. My children received individual attention and care every single day. She taught them all of the things necessary for them to be prepared for school.
