he Burbank First United Methodist Church (BFUMC) offers the Nursery School program as part of its ministry to the community. The school was founded in 1958 to serve the needs of both the Church and the local community. The faculty is staffed by professionals who are experienced, educated, and knowledgeable in Early Childhood Education. They are enthusiastic in maintaining the goal of the school which is to provide an environment where children can develop at their own pace in a safe and nurturing setting. Each member is extremely creative and uses their own talents and uniqueness to enhance each day's activities inside and outside of the classrooms! The BFUMC Nursery School is licensed by the State of California Department of Social Services. The Nursery School is open to any child who will benefit from the program regardless of ethnic background, culture or religious affiliation. We welcome children of all abilities and will make reasonable accommodations, without undue burden of unusual expenses or obligations, to met the requirements of children with special needs. Children need to be toilet trained.
