We welcome children aged 10 weeks to 5 years, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Our in-home daycare is designed to be a home away from home. We have a dedicated indoor gym, a multipurpose room, and a secure playground for outdoor fun.
Curriculum & Daily Activities
At Gum Spring Little Academy, we believe in fostering the holistic development of every child in a play-based environment. Our daily schedule is filled with a variety of activities designed to stimulate young minds and bodies, such as reading, arts and crafts, singing, dancing, and of course, plenty of play! We also incorporate quiet time for naps and rest, ensuring each child has a balanced and fulfilling day. Our curriculum is based on Social Emotional Learning (SEL), a proven approach that helps children understand and manage their emotions, develop a growth mindset, and build positive relationships. We focus on helping children achieve age-appropriate developmental milestones, from motor skills to social and emotional growth. We guide parents through any developmental challenges they may face, offering support and resources along the way.
About The Owner & Caregiver
I am a mother of two with a Master’s Degree in Childcare Education. Over the past five years, I’ve worked closely with young children and their families, gaining valuable insights into their developmental needs. I’m certified in CPR, First Aid, AED, and Medication Administration Training (MAT). Additionally, I speak Urdu, Hindi, and English, allowing me to communicate with families from diverse backgrounds. I decided to open my own child care facility after leaving a successful career to spend more time with my children. During this time, I studied child care, early childhood education, and became certified in Positive Parenting. Now that my own children are in school, I’m excited to support other parents by offering a loving, safe, and enriching environment for their children. One of the things I love most about my job is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young minds. Watching infants, toddlers, and preschoolers grow, learn, and achieve milestones is incredibly rewarding. I cherish every moment spent nurturing their development, witnessing their joy and curiosity, and helping them navigate the crucial early stages of life.

I've always worked from home with a nanny watching my children, but when I saw this daycare's ad, I had a very good feeling so I reached out. I toured the space and it was so organized, clean, fun, and stimulating. My 3.5yr old daughter cried for about 5 minutes on the first day and by third day she pushed me out of the doorway and shut the door in my face. Safe to say she loves it! My 9 month old son does, too. He has no problem falling asleep for naps, and I get photo updates of both of my kids smiling, playing, and eating throughout the day. Not to mention, my house has become a place of productivity! I was able to clean my house, downsize the amount of toys on the main floor, and work uninterrupted til it was time to pick up my angels in the afternoon. I highly recommend touring this space if you're a parent transitioning from in-home care. I felt moving my kids from home to a classroom would be a bit too overwhelming. This is a great stepping stone because they get the full attention of a nanny, but the socialization and education of a classroom. The owner's credentials with child development was what really sold me. She is not only a mother of kind and thoughtful children, but she also has impressive education regarding child development. Oh and here's the cherry on top-moving our kids from nanny to this daycare has given me more hours of childcare for same amount I was spending on in-home childcare. My daughter has talked about her day at school every day since her first day there. I never thought I'd be a mom that enjoys the idea of my kids in daycare, but this is just the best.
