Mount Aviat Academy Preschool program is for children 4 years of age by September 1. The program includes two options: half day and full day. Both options begin at 8:15 a.m. with half day ending at 11:30 a.m. and full day ending at 3:00 p.m. Before care is offered at no cost by the Oblate Sisters. Preschool students can take advantage of the school's After Care program, which runs until 5:30 p.m. Students in the Mount Aviats Preschool program have their own secure building and playground but they also have access to all the facilities at the main school building including the Library, Science Lab, Art Room, and Computer Lab. In addition, students have a weekly Physical Education class in the school's gymnasium. Preschoolers are prepared to be successful in Kindergarten and learn what it means to Live Jesus. Preschoolers also have buddies in fourth grade who support learning by reading to the children and participating in special celebrations together. Preschool students take part in two performances each year including a Christmas show and a Spring musical. They also attend lower school presentations and school-wide presentations.
