About Us
I am the proud owner and caregiver of Clearspring Manor Bilingual Playhouse. As a mother of 5, I have been surrounded by children my entire life. I have 15 years of experience in providing loving and nurturing child care. My qualifications include certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration Training (M.A.T.), as well as 90 hours of child growth and development training, specializing in infants and toddlers.
I started my family daycare to spend more time with my own children and to contribute to my family’s expenses. Along the way, I fell in love with this career. Working with children since 2002 in my church', I have found joy in developing relationships with children and their families. At our in-home daycare, we maintain a small class size to ensure each child feels like they have a home away from home. This allows me to really know each child as an individual, providing a solid and supportive foundation during their early years.
Program Information
Clearspring Manor Bilingual Playhouse is open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We provide full-time and part-time care for children aged 3 months to 5 years, including a preschool program. Our bilingual program immerses children in both Spanish and English, which has been shown to improve cognitive, social, and emotional skills.
We welcome infants, toddlers, and preschoolers into our safe and nurturing environment. Our daycare is designed to provide a loving space where your child can learn, grow, and thrive. We follow the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) approved curriculum, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.
We believe that children are our most precious gifts. We are dedicated to providing the safest, most loving, and educational environment possible. The first five years of a child's life are crucial in shaping their future. We strive to help build strong and equipped children who are ready to reach their fullest potential.
Curriculum & Activities
We believe that children learn best through play. Our play-based program includes a variety of activities that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Our bilingual immersion program helps children learn both Spanish and English naturally through stories, songs, and daily interactions.
Our curriculum offers a mix of structured and free play activities, allowing children the time to explore and express themselves creatively. We provide a variety of learning experiences such as art, dramatic play, books, music, science, stories (in both English and Spanish), and outdoor play. Our fenced backyard and outdoor play area are perfect for physical development and fun!
In addition to the enriching activities, we ensure a relaxed, loving, and caring atmosphere. We aim to build each child's self-esteem and uniqueness while teaching them the importance of social interaction and personal responsibility. Our goal is to create a community where every child feels valued and supported.
Facilities & Additional Information
Our child care facility is equipped with modern amenities to ensure the safety and well-being of your child. We have iPads and tablets for educational activities, a multipurpose room for various indoor activities, and a separate nap room for restful sleep. Our facility is equipped with electronic access and video cameras for added security.
We provide snacks included in the tuition, ensuring a peanut-free and tree-nut-free environment. Potty training is not required for enrollment. We also accept subsidized care and MD Scholarship vouchers to make our services accessible to all families.

The owner and her team of teachers are amazing. Scarlett has learned so much and hit multiple milestones throughout her 5 months at this daycare. Their constant updates within the communication app also helps me as the parent feel connected to how my daughters day is going.

I truly can't say enough about our experience with this daycare. As first-time parents, my wife and I went through all of the emotions and anxieties associated with finding and selecting the best daycare for us. After months of laboring over our options, we narrowed it down to a few and then set out to meet all of them. She was the first one we met and within seconds we knew this would be the best option so we cancelled the rest of our appointments and paid the deposit right away. It is abundantly clear just how much she cares for and loves the children under her watch. We wanted something that was in-home, diverse, had a structured curriculum, and shared our same values. This daycare checked all of those boxes and more. Leaving our son for the first time was difficult as new parents, but her communication helped so much. We know every time our son eats a snack, gets a diaper change, takes a nap, and we love the multiple pictures and videos we get on a daily basis. In the full year we have spent with her, our son has never once come home with a bump, a bruise, diaper rash, or anything of the sorts. He loves going to daycare so much that he literally lunges into their arms when we drop him off, and sometimes he doesn't even want to come home. If you ask, she will tell you all about how their day went, what they're doing, any exciting milestones they're reaching, and she is so on top of reminders when we are running low on supplies. There's no shortage of daycare options, but we drive 30 minutes in each direction to take him to and from daycare and it has never once crossed our minds to find something closer to home. Frankly, we would drive even further if it meant keeping our son with her. This was the best possible experience that we could have ever dreamed of and I could not recommend in good conscience that any parent look anywhere else other than her and her daycare.

Buenas maestras, buen ambiente para los niños
Mi hijo actualmente sigue asistiendo al Day Care, las maestras tienen mucha paciencia para con los niños, a mi hijo le costó adaptarse pero gracias a ellas lo logró!
El lugar está lleno de juegos para los niños acorde a cada edad.

My son has been going to this daycare since he was 3 months old (he is almost 1 year old now). They are like family. I trust them with my whole heart and they have been a blessing to our family! I would highly highly recommend!
