Little Discoveries Childcare

Hi! My name is melissa foster and i have been working with children my entire life. I started out working in childcare centers as an aide/assistant teacher, then later as a head teacher. I also have taught community ed gymnastics, sunday school, and was a nanny as well while i got my early childhood degree. I began my own home childcare in march 2004 in scott county, then moved to delano in august 2012. Working with children is my passion, and i love being able to take care of kids as babies and watch them grow into independent children. I feel that taking care of mixed ages in a small group is a great way to teach children--the older ones become the 'teachers' and role models for the younger ones, and the younger ones benefit from interacting and learning from the older ones.
