At Little Learners Preschool, Inc. our program is play-based/teacher guided. Teachers set the stage for learning, while children interact with and learn in eight interest areas: blocks, dramatic play, manipulatives, music/movement, art, sand and water, library, and the outdoors. Playful learning supports academic outcomes, and also supports positive associations with learning that help children become successful, happy, lifelong learners! Our program follows the Creative Curriculum which allows students to learn and thrive through creative and active teaching strategies. Our curriculum also addresses the four areas of development: social/emotional, physical, cognitive and language/literacy. The Creative Curriculum goes beyond rote learning and focuses on big ideas, interesting projects, and individual students' passions and needs. Our classroom is set up in a way that encourages experimentation, exploration and pursuit of individual interests. At Little Learners Preschool, Inc. our educators are passionate, dedicated, and knowledgeable about Early Education and Care! In our classroom, the teacher creates an atmosphere where children are safe, feel emotionally secure and have a sense of belonging. We believe there are many ways to teach, and that each child learns differently. All children are supported in learning through ways that best suit their needs.
