Welcome to Foxfield Bilingual Children's Corner, my intimate child care and preschool program in Fairfax, VA. We are conveniently located in the Foxfield neighborhood of Fairfax, just off Brandy Station Rd and Stringfellow Rd (near the International Country Club). Our proximity to both Lee Jackson Hwy (Route 50) and Fairfax County Pkwy (Route 286) makes drop-offs and pick-ups a breeze, especially for commuting parents. As a mother of two children, I understand firsthand the importance of finding a daycare that feels like a second home for your child. Before my children were born, I spent three years as a Sunday school teacher, nurturing and guiding young minds. After taking time off to focus on my own family, I began babysitting for friends and discovered that my passion for working with children had only grown stronger. Now that my children are in school, I’m thrilled to return to teaching by operating my own licensed child care facility. I speak English, Spanish, and Sinhalese, which allows me to offer a rich bilingual experience for the children in my care. I’ve seen how language can be a powerful tool for connecting with others, and I’m excited to share that with your child. I’ve always believed that the best learning happens in an environment filled with love, patience, and fun. I’m soft-spoken and patient by nature, and I strive to create a space where children feel safe, happy, and eager to learn. Working with children is more than just a job for me—it’s my passion. From the moment I started teaching Sunday school, I knew that helping children learn, laugh, and grow was what I was meant to do. I love seeing the world through their eyes, filled with wonder and curiosity. Each day at my daycare is an opportunity to make a positive impact on a child’s life, and that’s something I cherish deeply.

At Foxfield Bilingual Children's Corner, we know how important it is to find a child care facility that fits your schedule. That’s why we offer flexible full-time and part-time care from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We welcome children from as young as 6 weeks old up to 5 years of age, offering them a safe, loving and nurturing place to grow during these crucial early years. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, offering age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Whether you need care for your infant, a fun and engaging preschool experience for your toddler, or something in between, our daycare is here to support your child every step of the way.

We combine the Montessori and play-based teaching philosophies to create a curriculum that is both structured and flexible, allowing children to explore their interests while developing essential skills. Our bilingual Spanish program introduces children to both English and Spanish (as well as Sinhalese upon parents' request). We also offer a variety of extracurricular activities to keep your little one engaged and excited about learning. From painting and music to singing and outdoor play, there’s always something fun happening here. Our facilities include a fully fenced playground where children can safely enjoy the outdoors, and we’ve equipped our space with video cameras to give you peace of mind. We run a peanut-free and tree-nut-free daycare to ensure the health and safety of all our children. Lunch and snacks are included in our program!

I created Foxfield Bilingual Children's Corner based on what I was looking for when I needed a child care facility for my own kids. I wanted a place where my children could learn and grow in a supportive, loving environment, and that’s exactly what I aim to provide here. With my Montessori experience, bilingual classes, and personal understanding of a parent’s needs, I believe your child will thrive in my care!
