Hello parents, and welcome to Pimmit Hills Kiddie Cottage, my licensed child care program in Falls Church, VA! I am the owner of this home-based daycare, and like you, I am also a parent. As a mother of two, I understand the importance of creating a safe, warm, fun, and stimulating environment for your children to grow and thrive! My goal is to provide personalized care and attention in a setting that feels comfortable and familiar to children. With 10 years of experience, I strive to help parents feel confident about their child’s well-being, safety, and early childhood development. Opening my own daycare facility gives me the opportunity to combine my love for child care with my goal of supporting my community!

Pimmit Hills Kiddie Cottage operates year-round, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Our program provides: * Full-time and part-time child care for children as young as 6 weeks * Before and after-school care for school-aged kids up to 12 years old I offer peanut-free and tree-nut-free snacks and lunches (included in tuition!) to prevent any allergies. Your child’s health and safety are my number one priority! I am C.P.R. and First Aid certified for added peace of mind.

Nestled in the center of the Pimmit Hills neighborhood, our daycare is very conveniently located for your commute to work since we're just a few minutes away from all major roads and freeways: Leesburg Pike (route 7), Dulles Toll Rd, I-495, I-66 and route 123 (Chain Bridge Rd / Dolley Madison Blvd). We are also very close to Westgate Elementary School and just two minutes away from Pimmit View Park. The commute to and from work is simple, as we are close to Dolley Madison Blvd (Route 123) and the Capital Beltway Inner Loop (I-495). Our facility includes everything your little needs to learn and have fun in our main child care room. We also have a separate nap room to ensure proper rest, as well as a large, fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and exploration!

At Pimmit Hills Kiddie Cottage, we believe in the power of play-based learning to foster creativity, curiosity, and social development. We will be incorporating fun activities such as drawing, painting, dancing, and singing. When the weather allows it, we’ll head outside to our fenced backyard to play, explore, and develop physically. We will also have a daily reading of storybooks to help promote and foster good habits and curiosity. Teaching good habits also helps build social skills and promotes interaction and teamwork among children. If you would like to introduce your child to another language, I am also fluent in Tamil and Hindi, so I would be happy to do so upon request! To ensure safety and preparedness, our program includes weekly and monthly drills, teaching children how to handle emergencies and natural disasters. These activities also contribute to their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
