Shana's Child Development Center, Fayetteville

Shana's Child Development Center aims teach children to live together peacefully, take turns, share, consider other's feelings, and to develop a social sensivity. We have a planned program for each age group that is motivational and challenging. This is enriched through educational toys, puzzles, art experiences, audiovisual aids and other educational materials. We provide an atmosphere of love and understanding and a close relationship between child and teacher. A schedule is followed closely each day so the child will have a good ideaof what happens next. Through these efforts we aim to provide the child with a sence of security, self-idenity and self-reliance. We aim to provide a safe environment and guard against ill health. The children are served nutritious mealsand snacks. We encouragethechildrento participatein organized physical activities. Weather permitting, the children play outside each day. A rest or naptime is planned after lunch daily.
