Violet's Day Care Center, Gaithersburg

We have only the highest praise to give to Violet, her mother and her facility. Our daughter spent from 8 months to three years of age at Violets and still misses and talks of Violet frequently. We all miss her! Both Violet and her mother love each and every child like their own. Violet treats the children with such respect and care and in return, she produces polite, articulate well-behaved little children. She also cooks wonderful food for the children which I attribute to adventurous eaters at home. It broke our hearts to have to leave Violet. We will be forever grateful for the way she loved and cared for our daughter. Thank you, Violet!! We Love you!!

We moved into the area about 1.5 years ago and having 3 young children, it was my #1 priority to find a day care center that was reliable and nurturing. After extensive research and going on many other tours of childcare centers, I came across Violet’s Day Care Center. Enrolling my children here was the best decision I ever made! When I met Violet for the first time, I was very impressed by her hospitality and manners. She’s VERY caring, polite and treats my girls as if they were her own. She shows them love, affection and individual attention. She prepares a variety of fresh foods everyday and is also mindful of any other children that may have allergies. She also has a large, gated backyard with swing sets and a variety of toys for all ages to play with. I never have to worry about packing anything. She has everything! The quality and affordability really is incomparable. We are very happy here and highly recommend this place.

My husband and I researched many, many daycares before deciding to enroll our first child with Violet. Our daughter enjoyed all-day care from 6 months until 3.5 years. Our second daughter was enrolled at 3 months. I have nothing but absolute appreciation and LOVE for Violet and the way she runs her facility. Violet was like my second mother, helping guide me through naps, meals, potty training, tantrums, you name it. My girls are the LEAST picky eaters of any of my friends' kids and I attribute most of this to exposure to wonderful flavors and experiences at Violets. The art projects my older daughter made were better than some of the things she is making NOW in school. Violet is an amazing, warm, calm person who I should also mention NEVER GETS SICK! Haha. She closed down twice in the 4 years we used her - once for a death in her family and once for jury duty. You cannot beat that kind of reliability and service when you have LONG commutes and two employed parents. I wholeheartedly recommend her facility to anyone looking for a loving, family environment. I do mean FAMILY - her husband, mom, and kids all came to become our family. We recently moved to California and literally one of the hardest things we had to do was say goodbye to Violet and this daycare. I hope some of you can take advantage of the peace of mind of having your children experience what meant so much to us and our girls.

Our children have been with Violet for over three years now and it gives us incredible peace of mind to know that they are so loved and well-cared for when we can't be with them during the day. They are made to feel like a part of Violet's family and truly love being with her.

We enrolled our daughter at Violet's when she was 5 months old, and she stayed there for a year (until we moved out of town). Our experience with Violet, put simply, was excellent. She is a nurturing person who cares deeply about each child in her care, and we felt very comfortable having her take care of our daughter. Even though we're no longer in the DC area, we would HIGHLY recommend Violet to anyone!

Violet's offers the best infant and child care in the area. Our toddler has been at Violet's for almost two years and we couldn't be happier! We were referred by two different families and know several more whose children have attended Violet's over the years. She's a North Potomac institution! Violet is just wonderful and we're continuously amazed at the high-quality, personalized care that our daughter receives. We have also been amazed by how much our toddler's vocabulary seems to increase by the day, and we feel very confident she will be very well prepared for kindergarten. I love that Violet's is a small center where my daughter gets 1:1 attention, affection, and instruction. We toured ALL other North Potomac daycare providers choosing Violet's was an easy decision. The quality and affordability is incomparable; and when you join Violet's, you join a family.
